I saw a dent remover at work recently.  He was taking some minor dents out of
a door by pushing them out from the inside.  He drilled a hole in the door
jam, and stuck various sized metal rods that had a bend at one end.

He'd put the tip of the bent end against the back of the ding and twist the
rod, thereby pushing the dent out.  He used different diameters depending on
the size of the remaining dent.

I don't now if this would help you, but thought I'd share it with you.
