You're right: they should reward paying attention. And to an extent, they do.
If you pay really close attention, you won't get as many speeding tickets, cuz
you'll see the other team coming. Not to metion the accidents you'll avoid.

This would work fine if the other team weren't so underhanded with their
planes, speed traps, etc. Dadgummit...
