FW: New Audi ad

The new GS 400 is the ultimate!

It has been totally refined and an all-alluminum 300hp V8 and variable
valve timing, formula one sounding exhaust and tiptronic shifting (on
the wheel).....Not to be construed with the rest of the (yawn) boring
Lexus'!

The amount of technology in that car is simply amazing! It is truly and
engineering marvel. I consider it in the late 90's what the Audi
5000CSTQ was in 1986. Truly at the pinnacle of automotive technology.

This one is a true driving car and can handle on rails as well.
Traction may be a problem with that much hp and rear wheel drive (even
with that mediocre traction control system), but on dry land, that car
would just destory a quattro! That car is fast, although still a bit
cushy feeling IMHO. I guess I'm young and used to a little of the
"shake, rattle, and roll"...body roll that is! ;)

My dad got to ride in the GS 400 pace car at Laguna Seca this year for
the Cart race out there, and he said that he was VERY impressed with the
way that handled at high speeds, and the driver was really putting it
through it's paces.

Later,
Dan
(maybee someday I'll be able to afford a USED GS400)
