FW: FW: New Audi ad
Yea, those buys love to trash those cars!
But, hey, it belongs to the mfgr, so why not! Anyways, that is actually
a pretty cool show (kinda like Motor Week with cooler cars and more
thrashing them on tracks) which is kinda supprising for such a (IMHO)
crappy magazine. Maybee they're starting to come around.
No, I did not see this episode (with the Lexus GS400), but I would not
mind seeing it if you wouldn't mind sending me the tape! ;) I've yet to
learn how to work a VCR. I still only know how to hit play and rewind.
No engineers in my family! ;^)
I did, however, see the episode with the comparison between the MZ3
roadster, Ferrari F355 F1, Corvette, Lotus Esprit twin turbo V-8 (this
one looked very impressive for the price!), and a Dodge Viper GTS. They
were seriously thrashing these cars at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and
they blew up the motor (blown oil line) on the Viper doing a top speed
run! Got a new Viper and successfully completed the top speed test.
The coolest part was when the driver (to illustrate how stable the
Ferrari is at high speeds) removed his hands from the steering wheel at
170 mph!
I was impressed!
Later,
Dan
