Unless my chipped 91 200q is around. Hehe. I raced one of those suxel tubs on
the (effectively abandoned) 210 freeway up in LA a month or so ago. Started at
around 80, I pulled him through 120, then at 130-140 it was dead even, except
he was unable to regain the car length + I got on him from 90-120. Course,
with 8 years and 175k miles, my car is a little more broken in. :-) Stopped at
~140 as we rounded a corner and came rather quickly upon a CHP on the side of
the road. Fortunately he was with a 'customer' in a big rig and did not see
us. Doh!

I couldn't hear his exhaust. I wonder what he thought of my Stebro? It sounds
pretty cool...

Yes, they are just about catching up with Audi of the mid 80's. Except they
can't figure out how to drive all four wheels at once. They're halfway there,
though. Hehe.

Sure didn't destroy my quattro, Dan. At least not judging by the view from my mirrors.

He should drive something built off a 16 year old Audi platform, with a turbo
tractor motor. Wonder how that suxel will look in so many years? In all
seriousness, the gs400 is a terrific car, but it's not the hottest thing out
there in that category, to be sure. One of the hottest _new_ cars you can buy
for that money, though.

Maybe you should buy something faster, though, something with awd... hmm
nothing comes to mind, though. ;-)

PS: No lives were risked in this exercise, save two willing participants. No
other moving vehicles were encountered, closed track (almost): 4 lanes wide
open, as safe as it gets. I am not reckless. So no whining from the 5 over
crowd, thanks.
