The old fashioned way: park on a level surface some distance from a
large, flat, preferably light-colored wall. Cover one light with
something non-flammable, adjust the other low beam cutoff to hit the
wall somewhere lower than the top of the headlight. Fuel and cargo
loading can affect aim. The cutoff on these lights is very sharp, my
main reason for getting them. You'll be able to see the cutoff bouncing
up and down on signs and vehicles as you drive, adjust later as
necessary.
My H4 low-beams are almost level. Huge difference after adjustment, I
didn't realize how many deer lurk by the highway at night! I probably
wouldn't have totalled my last two cars if I'd been able to see deer
this well at night.
