<V8> CV joint

All:

I believe (from information supplied by Jeff Donnelly) that the left
rear CV joint is going bad.  Is it dangerous to drive?  (I won't even
ask if it's expen$ive to fix) It only seems apparent when making a
hard left turn from a stop, as in parallel parking.  The wheel kind of
clunks and "sticks" briefly.  The "ABS OFF" light usually lights up at
the same time.
