Summary: radiator neck revisited

I'll give you the result first.
I ordered an all metal radiator from Autobahn of NH (Chris Semple)
for $150+SH. It should ship today. FYI, the phone is 1-800-350-4590

I received many replies and the majority said do not epoxy. Those
who did epoxy had used a variety of methods. Some put something
metal inside the neck for strength and used the epoxy to hold it
there. Some recommened the Audi kit, but I recall comments from
a long time ago that the kit doesn't last very long.

Anyway, for the peace of mind afforded by a new radiator, and seeing
how Carlson wanted $168 for the OEM and local price for same was $240,
I opted for the all metal one for $150.

So, that's almost a wrap. I expect I'll put it in Thursday or Friday
evening (as I'm driving to Toronto on Saturday).

PS. Any thoughts on distilled water in the cooling system? The
hard tap water in our area probably leaves deposits...
