I managed to wave at an Urq once and got a wave back. We were however
closing at only 80mph, I was the only vehicle on my side of the road and the
other Urq was bright yellow so I was able to see it at quite a distance.
There is a highly modded CDM purple coupe that I see 2-3 times a week, it
took a month or two of waving at each meeting before the other driver
started to return it.

Usually the thought process on meeting an Urq is something like:
"Hey, that looks like......"
(glance in rear-view mirror)
"..a quattro..."
