Re: camaradarie?

Lots of Audis here, so waving gets no more than puzzled looks (if the
recipient of the wave is awake, at least). I got a wave from a fellow 80
owner once, and was at a loss myself, didn't really expect it.

To illustrate the 'lots of Audis' bit: on my way to work, I moved from the
lefthand lane to the righthand lane after negotiating a traffic light. I
noticed a pretty girl in a gold-coloured A3 behind me, who passed me as I
moved to the right. Behind her was a guy in a green metallic A4, and behind
him another guy in a brand new green metallic A6 Avant. No, not a Pikes
Peak convoy. Just a very popular car here. Maybe if you drive an UrQ,
you'll get waves from other UrQ owners...

PS Another black metallic '86 Coupe quattro for sale down the street from
work- looks OK but for ugly aftermarket wheels and very unstealthy huge
'quattro' logos that cover the entire side of the car beneath the rubber
trim. Judging from the licence plate, it's another recent German import.

The number of people watching you is directly proportional
to the stupidity of your action.
