Leather cleaner

Hi all,

A few weeks ago I picked up a bottle of Eagle One Leather Cleaner at the
local Trak Auto. I tried it out on my 86 5kcst and noticed that not only
was the cleaner largely ineffective but also that it produced visible
cracks in some places. I then proceeded to return the bottle. The leather
in the car is black and fairly aged and I do want to give it a thorough
cleaning. What do you guys recommend? I have a bottle of Eagle One Leather
conditioner but without a cleaner, it's largely ineffective. I need a safe
and effective cleaner. Any ideas?
