Re: I'm not happy with AoA's client services. Anyone else?
Excellent post, Mike! VERY VERY true...The zone rep is often the LAST chance
to get audi to cover part or all of a repair, but time out of warranty and
mileage are central points. Audi is more apt to try to satisfy original
owners and those whose have had their cars serviced at audi dealerships, that
way they both have something at stake. When I worked at the dealer, we would
push the audi rep to help out loyal customers especially, and also if there
was a known problem with a car (i.e., trans/diff mixing on auto 3speed 5k and
5kt cars). I only wish audi would've recalled/replaced that $#@%&^ 4 speed
auto trans on the '91 fwd 100- absolutely one of the poorest pairings of
engine/transmission I have ever driven (the 3 speed auto trans on our '87 was
MUCH better suited to the car). Should've sold the '91 instead of the '87
when I got the v8.
