1989 100, Interior dome light

I have never really worried over it before, but when I was on my long
(6000 miles) trip out west, I realized it would be nice to have the dome
and map/reading lights working.

This is what I have:
Dome comes on when door is opened, goes out when starting car or after
approximately 30 seconds. I assume that timer in left foot well is
working properly. When exiting the car, dome goes out when car is being
locked.

Problems:
Dome cannot be turned on by moving swith in center roof console (but can
be set to never come on). Interior reading lights does not work.

I have doen some trouble shooting but is now stuck. Anyone with advice
or encountered similar problems? Anyone with a Bentley that can fax the
wiring diagram for this?
