audi ramblings from your truly

Well guys,
I've got the TV on in the background, not watching, but I can hear it. I'm
starting this post as Law and Order comes on NBC. All of a sudden I hear one
of the characters say "He's driving a white Audi!" What??? So now I'm leaning
way out of my seat trying to watch the TV and type at the same time. I'm
looking for the white Audi. No Audi. Then a little later someone repeats this.
Still no Audi. I end up watching (half watching) this entire show which was
about S&M killings or something, and still no Audi. What a tease! Did I miss
it or what?

Today, I saw a pearl white 100 on the road near home. Ok I'm going to try some
of this Audi camaraderie. I'm not really hopeful cuz the car is filthy, the
wheels are black and its not exactly what you guys call prisitine (that's a
pretty cute word for gearheads). But, I say what the heck, give it a try for
practice. First pass, glance over...he's looking the other way. Second try,
stopped at a light, I play with my hair and turn my head slightly...he's
looking straight ahead. Third try, another light, look right at him and smile!
he's fumbling for something on the floor. Geesh, I'm losing it!

Anyway, I'll be away for a few days, Baby is going on her first road trip up
to the Finger Lakes in NY State (Ithaca and Groton). If there are any listers
from the area, make sure to wave! I'll be the one smiling at you with a Jack
Russell Terrier in my lap. He's the reason for the trip, he's going to hunt
rats at a Terrier Trial up there, don't ask! 
I'm going to miss the list while I'm gone.
