Bulls Eye is the worst, because they don't even give you the option of
emailing to remove yourself from the list. (Though I never use that, some
scumbags, people like Bulls Eye, just use that to verify the address.)
They expect you to write a letter. Anyone want to help me tie up their
phone lines for a while?
The best bet is to probably have Dan authorize someone to call and demand
to have the list address taken out of their records immediately. It
doesn't do any good to contact the providers because they always use
throwaway dialup accounts (usually UUNet or Compuserve) and bounce it off
of a hijacked Asian or European server. If anyone wants to know how to
contact the server admins, email me privately and I'll hook you up with
some good info.
Ob Audi: Did Audi make an Sx wagon? Saw what looked like a Pearl 200
yesterday, but it had the Audisport badge. Owner didn't return my wave,
but the red (I think, rush hour in Manhattan makes it hard to remember
details like color) 91 200Q driver was very pleased when I waved and
yelled 'Nice car'.
