Re: Wheels to 4K from Saab?
Owning two Saabs allows me to say authoritatively that all Saab 900's
had four lug rims until the new generation 900 was introduced in 1994. A
hub change (a switch from girling brakes precipitated this) for the 1988
model year does complicate things, however. In Saab land, rims for
'79-'87 900's are fully interchangeable, but '88 on rims will not fit on
the older cars, nor the reverse. The 9000 from '86 on used the same 4
bolt pattern as the 900 from '88 on, thus they will not fit the earlier
900 (pre '88.) This is complicated further by many rim styles being
duplicated in both lug patterns, so you need to be sure of what year and
model car the rims came from. I believe the 1979-1987 900 rims fit the
4000. The new generation 900/ 9-3 and the new 9-5 have a 5-bolt pattern

All SaaBs from model 99 and up have had 5 lug bolt pattern. 900, 9000
and 9-3 and 9-5 all use 5 -bolt pattern.
The only wheels you migth find for SaaBs are for model 95 and 96, anyone
remember these, a sedan and a station wagon? Think they both went out of
production i Sweden 1975 or 1976.
Good luck anyway, these were cars with great personality, albeit semi
