No! But it may be easier ;-) Once you have the outer (cosmetic) door panel
removed the window regulator is held in by just a few bolts. The PITA part is
removing and re-installing a hidden E-Ring which holds the window mount to the
regulator.
I removed it using right angle C-Clip pliers. I re-installed it by feeling it
move into place and then pressing it home with a straight blade screwdriver
(again...by feel--hold the tip of the screwdriver against the E-Ring and don't
let it slip) by gently tapping on the butt of the screwdriver.
Given practice at removing the outer door panels, this is a very easy job,
except for that infernal E-Ring. I suspect that is why the Haynes book advises
removal of the inner door panel (which looks easy enough, but re-aligning it
may not be any fun...no BTDT's for me--yet). HTH
