What to look for on a late 80s 100/200 ?

What are the typical problems on the 100/200 from the late 80s?
Anything to pay special attention to? What about the Quattro-system?
Is the price difference between the 100 and 200 worth it?

I have found out that getting a 100Q/200TQ from the late 80s, install
red V8-like rear lights (if it isn't already done) and buy some good
wheels and tyres (what about 16") will get me an good Audi. 

The japanese cars that I have driven since my parents sold their '81
100LS a few years ago, are just crap.. Now I can afford an Audi again.
I just can't wait!! :-)
