You won't - it's very quiet. Stethoscope job. Also - the main failure
mode is the impellor becoming detached. Just because the motor's
running, it doesn't mean it's pumping. The only reliable test is off
the car, with a bucket of water.

Think of it more as a fuel line cooler, rather than as an injector
cooler.
