I thought this thread was dead - so I didn't add my $.02 but since it
isn't I will.

At Mt Washington Mark Besso out of Conn. -competed with a 85 4Kq.(If
anybody took a close look in his car they would have noticed the bolt door
bolsters in the cage since that is his daily driver.) He was running (I
think Goodyear tires) mounted on Saab 9000 rims. I know because I asked
the guy who was "crew chief" for him (stated he was an Audi certified
master tech - and I believe him - don't remember his name though).

"Hey those are 9000 rims?"

crew chief said " Yep they bolt right up - no problems. Gotta get a certain
year though (not after 93 I think)."

End of the day Mark was on his side - swapping rims - putting his street
tires on and strapping his competition tires onto a portable roof rack.
(Definitly the drive to work during the week and race on the weekend type
of guy!)

More options for the 2 Poles 4kq rally car.
