OK folks, I'm a bit confused and perhaps someone can clear the air for me. 
S2!!!  I am pretty sure these weren't imported here.  Right???  I have a CQ
1990 - very few of these, in relative terms.  Are all these discussions of
S2's actually CQ's that are "upgraded" to somewhere near S2 specs?  I think
they are faux S2's then.  Someone clear the air for me please.  Can't we
call them what they are?  CQ's - upgraded, modified, whatever.

Semantics, I guess, but it just confuses me as to what I am reading about.
Thanks.

PS - I looked at a web page with one in the process and no offense meant at
all, but it has a CQ hood not the S2's 'corporate' hood.

Hi All,
Last week somone posted this car.  Here are the details.  I went and looked
at it last night.

91 S2
100k
pearl, black leather
Big Reds
possibly euro lights? dunno for sure, but they looked good 
MSW Imola wheels w/new firestones
Momo wheel
scorpion SS exhaust
$28,900.00

Location; KT auto sales, Brookline, NH
603 672 5882

Obsevations;
The car has fresh paint, looks good from a distance. 
However, the detailing leaves much to be desired on a $29,000.00 car.
The interior is in good shape no tears, but needs some leather cleaning and
conditioning.
Missing the ashtray, rear.
LR tail light is quite scratched up (looks like side swipe dammage?)
Somthing is not quite right with the front bumper.  Tie wraps in the wheel
wells, screws missing.
Possibly stone guards?  Don't know, never seen on of these close up b4.
No visable pools of liquid underneath
The rest of the cars on the lot (about 6) were Dodge shawdows, a VW fox and
an old Jag.
All cars priced under 3k? Then you see a $28,900 S2?  Really wierd.

I didn't drive the car.  The place was closed.  Plus $28,900 is just a
little higher than the $11,900 
posted last week.  To say the least I was just a little shocked.

Insert usual disclaimers here. 
Just thought somone might be look'n for one of these.  Me thinks they be
rare.
