tweakin' a 4kqs

Motorheads:

I'm researching engine mods and am looking for comments from the list.
Specifically, will the crank/rods from a diesel 5000 (there was a diesel
5000, right?) fit a 4000 2.2l (85) block? IE are the front and rear mains
seals the same - can this crank be fitted w/o butchery to the 4000 block?

Any suggestions/BTDT on increasing bore? This is my everyday runner, not
racer; the cylinder walls need to hold up to everyday driving. Sources for
pistons?
