I rate them very highly, having had them on my '83 UrQ when I was back
in the Denver area. They in no way compared to the Blizzaks on my
wife's '93 90 on the icey stuff, but they were sufficient with quattro
to keep you comfortably in control.

I was looking for a good compromise tire instead of the SP 8000's and
Steve at Tire Rack said that they had noticed little falloff in track
testing versus the 8000's. Within a month after putting them on, I was
at Second Creek with the Quattro Club; a tight, abrasive track; and they
surprised me. With full tread depth, I did scuff the outside edages a
little, but the tires bit, held up and had great feel. They still do,
although the car is barely driven now.
