potential 90q20v purchase
Haudi,
Three cheers for a coworker who has returned from the dark side! Geoff
sold his Exploder and has been looking for a spiffy used 525 with a
manual, but they're not available around here.
He knows that Audis are just as German as BMWs, and he's noted that
they're 1/2 the price. And there are some for sale.
The car in question is a 1990 90q 20valve. Can any other owners of
same, or even '90 or '91 CQ folks, share with Geoff some of their
experience? Good stuff, bad stuff, costs, etc.

HE'S NOT SUBBED, SO PLEASE BE SURE TO CC HIM OR USE A DIRECT REPLY.

The car is located in Boise, ID, USA, with ~130k and a price of
~$7500. Good, bad, or ugly?
Geoff, keep in mind that Paul Royal has some "scorched-feathers"
feelings ;-) , as he's paid for the only known transmission
replacement in a quattro. The cost was something like $4000.
