This is how I got my car home from Wyoming.  At about $1000 including
diesel fuel, it was definitley the cheapest option.

But, if the car is running and drivable, I can't see why you'd want to
spend the extra money on pulling the car on a trailer when you could
just drive the car yourself.

And FYI -- there's only about $30 difference between U-haul's price on a
FWD car dolly, and full blown (all four wheels on the trailer) car
hauler.  If you have a choice in the matter, get the car hauler!
