By all means if you can get a auto hauler, all 4 wheels off the ground, do so. As
i have some exp in this area, about 10 years ago i towed my 320i from new orleans
to LA, a good 2300 miles. Soon after my arrival i found the tires and bearings of
the wheels that rolled the whole way were really f'ed up. Shop explanation, that
those 2 wheels had to bear the weight of the whole car and therefore were
subjected to xs wear. Now I always get all 4 of the ground or drive the whole way,
a hell of alot less $$ then unecessary repairs.
