4kq diff locks....finally

I've been trying to figure out why I wasn't getting vacuum to my diff lock
switch and naturally had to make it a big, involved project. Turns out (for
what it's worth, for future reference) that the vacuum lines were all screwed.
I replaced them all, and though they were all hooked up and seemed to follow
the diagram under the hood, I came to realize they didn't.
I finally realized something was wrong when I found the vacuum port between
the ISV and the intake was plugged with a screw. Eventually I realized the
diff lock vacuum line was routed to a "T" fitting in line with the vacuum
advance on the distributor, which draws vacuum off the throttle body in
amounts not even close to being enough to operate the diff. locks. I got it
hooked up right and the world is now a wonderful place.....except......
The one line I couldn't figure out (help me out 4kq owners) was the green
line from the vacuum tank in the drivers side front fender. It runs out of
the fender, behind the master cylinder to a "'T" fitting. One side goes to
the vacuum controls on the HVAC system, the other side goes to nothing. The
diagram on the hood doesn's show it going anywhere either. Should it just be
plugged, or routed to something?
Thanks to everyone who offered their suggestions.
