Sat I was bored or something so I put a real cat on my car (thank you
Paul A.) and removed the hollow one that was all I had when I rebuilt my
exhaust.  Wow, I sure don't miss that wonderful ringing racket!

And since it's a bigger dia than stock there doesn't seem to be too much
restriction.  Anyone know where I can get a foot of stainless steel
pipe, 2-1/4" OD?  Heh heh, just joking, I would *never* even dream of
it!
