Rocky Mountain Mercs

Friends,

Must be the season to test your German sedans.

Whilst cruising home from the office today on I25 Noprthbound, headed
into Denver, I passed three E class mercs, each with a laptop and
numerous cables wired into the dash.

I had a nice point of view from my fast sports vehicle... Suzi GS 700..

There was an e280, an eWagon, and an e without badging. All crusing an
easy 80.

Think they're staying at the Marriot?

In other (Audi) news, me 88 90 fwd goes in for two new front tahrs
(D60A2, can't beat'em for $55 ea), and an allignment. Will be sending a
new mechanic into the void of my front suspension in search of the
eternal clunk. Only thing left to replace would be the subframe
bushings, and I'm not ready for that. We'll see what he finds.

Spent Sunday waxing the wife's RED 90q. You forget how drippingly
blood-red they are when freshly waxed. I've tried eagle one synthetic
wax. It's somewhat cheap ($10 a bottle), lasts a while, and leaves a
nice finish. Given that we've got 1.94 kids (#two due in three days),
the opportunity to wax one of the 90s coes along pretty rarely. I even
got to put some armor-all on the tahrs this time. Red & black!

Audieux,

Dennis
