Subject: Timing belts, w/p. How about idler pulleys?
I don't know about 20V's, but I just spent ~$4K to rework the top end on
my '91 V8 due to one of the forks on the idler pulley failing. I
understand that this is a rare type of failure mode, but if the idler
puller AND fork (cost $130) had been changed at 60K with the timing
belt, then I would not have been without my V8 for 8 weeks and $4k
poorer.
