Autocrossing and seats

One week ago I ordered a a4 2.8q and the dealer told me I would have to wait 
about two weeks before my car arrives.  I intend to autocross the car at our 
regional SCCA events so I ordered the manual five-speed and the sport 
suspension.  I did not know at the time that sport seats were another option.  
My question is are the seats which come stock on the 2.8q adequate for 
autocrossing.  For anyone who is interested I have been autocrossing a 1996 Z28 
Camaro and I find the seats in this car perfectly adequate.  Thank you for your 
help.
