Big Al seems to be refering to a US MY '95 A6 sedan.

There was some discussion here months ago regarding lighting fitments on US
S4/S6 (100/A6) models.  A few claims were made that the latest US model,
95.5 S6, may have HID lighting.

Rather unlikely to be included on the std A6.

RE:  A4/S4 xenon lighting.  Available on S4 & A4 Individual models via
Quattro GmbH.
