   And increasingly less prevalent in the U.S. for the same reason.  Often older
   nozzles simply have the catch removed.  If not legislatively, then I think the
   insurance companies are giving the service stations an..ahem...incentive to
   remove the catches.

But usually -- well oftimes, anyways -- you can use your filler cap
as a wedge for the pump handle (at least here in the Colonies...) to 
pretty much achieve the same results.
