As the owner of two Miata's ('96, now demised, and a new '99), I now
needed a car I could commute 135 miles a day in all sorts of weather.
I've ended up with a '92 80 quattro 5-spd with the "all season" package
(differential switch, ABS switch, fog lights, and warm butts, etc.)
67,000 miles, clean, all records intact. I wanted a car, not an
appliance, but compromised some for comfort, safety, etc. I hate buying
cars, but so far feel good about this one.
1. opinions?
Probably one of the most reliable rigs since the toyota camry. These cars just
keep going and cover nearly the bases.
2. I paid $9,800. Did I do OK? >>
Not bad at all. Remember its hard to too much for a really good car, but it
can be done
