opinions on 80 Quattro

As the owner of two Miata's ('96, now demised, and a new '99), I now
needed a car I could commute 135 miles a day in all sorts of weather.
I've ended up with a '92 80 quattro 5-spd with the "all season" package
(differential switch, ABS switch, fog lights, and warm butts, etc.)
67,000 miles, clean, all records intact.  I wanted a car, not an
appliance, but compromised some for comfort, safety, etc.  I hate buying
cars, but so far feel good about this one.

1.  opinions?
2.  I paid $9,800.  Did I do OK?
