Maybe the same problem that Christine(and Richard and Dave, and myself...) suffered recently; a broken cruise/throttle linkage. it seems to be going around...

Last night while driving my 1889 Audi 90 with the cruise control on....it 
just shut off by itself.  It has been working fine up to this point.  I 
can't seem to get it to work again.  Anyone have a clue what might be the 
cause?
