exactly.

As I *biked* to the repair shop to move my 200 from one shop to another (in
interest of time), I had dreams of convienence cars floating in my head. I
readily admit that everytime I'm left Q-less, my withdrawal symptoms are
easily overwhelmed by my desire to have something a bit more reliable. I
start to consider putting my unpractacle, but relentlessly reliable Mr2
back on the road. I start fantasizing about the easy lease payments on a
Corolla that I can dump after graduate school and then get something with
Quattro. Okay maybe not a Corolla, maybe a new Golf or Jetta.

My 200 has become more than a career. It has become another woman in my
life. Except this one is by far the most expensive, the most demanding of
attention, and the most sensitive to comment. Heck, all I did was mention
it to Andrei that a Toyota would probably be more reliable than a
similiarily priced Audi and WHAM! I'm married to this woman and she didn't
sign a pre-nup, so divorce creeps into my head on days like today.

Luckily I'll have a backup car in a few weeks. My brother is moving up with
his golf and he's not allowed to have a car on campus.

I seriously hope I have appeased the Audi gods enough for now that they'll
let me live in harmony for a few months without anything disabling occuring
to my car. I'm getting very close to the edge of ending this love affair.

Just out of curiosity.. for those of you who are now on their second or
third Audis.. what finally made you dump your old gal and move on to a
lower mileage one?

Thanks for the support.

P.S. for those wondering I broke my clutch pedal.
