Oh, that's an easy one, Osman. I replaced my '85 type-44 non-T, non-Q with an
'89 type-44 with T and with Q. I wanted either an '89 200TQ or a '91 V8Q
5-speed.
Pearl White preferred. Turned out that a Tornado Red 200 surfaced a lot sooner.
The '98 A4TQ was even a more obvious choice: it replaced the '88 VW Fox.
Don't be so radical in the decision to divorce your 200. I saw it: you've got
the early '89 200TQ with that big K-26 turbo to boot. It's gorgeous outside (the
real Pearl White, not my post-92 quasi-Pearl A4, which looks beige in anything
but direct sunlight and only within an hour after washing) and OK in the engine
bay. It could use some vacuum-cleaning in the cabin tho, but you already know it
:-).
Clutch pedal broke - big deal! Do you need my over-centre spring compression
tool?
BTW, do you want me send you that Audi brochure back or will you pick it up in
August when you stop by my place?
