2.4L NA I5 in 84 4KQ BTDT?

Someone out here had mentioned that they had BTDT with installing a
late-model NA 2.3/4L I5 in the 4KQ.

PLEASE contact me directly. I am interested in details such as if the stock
4KQ injectors were used with the
late-model head or if some type of kludge or other adapter was required. I
plan to use the stock 4KQ fool dist
and injectors, electrics, distributor, etc, etc. Any other tips or
suggestions GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Also, ran the 4KQ race car in a SCCA auto-x for the first time last weekend
at NHIS. What a blast! The 2B
setup works great here as well. Had to run in E Prepared due to no interior
or headlights, would have been
more competitive in ESP on my street tahrs and 170,000+ miles stone-stock
engine and driveline. Was only
0.1 sec out of first place after a very well setup and clean Scirocco on
race slicks, well driven and by a very
experienced driver/car combo. Felt pretty good about that for a first time
out with a new car and class.....
