Newsflash: Audi merges with Cadillac!...

Audi announced today that they will be merging under the Cadillac umbrella. VW
sold it's highly touted Audi division to fund it's next acquisition; Dalmer-
Benz-Chrysler.

Audi spokes person said that they are looking forward to being a division of
Cadillac; "we are excited about using Cadillac's engineering resources to
bring Audi's quality and styling up to Cadillac levels." 

Cadillac said they will be rebadging the Cadillac Catera with the Audi rings
to increase sales of the slow selling import fighter. It is also rumored that
the Head of Cadillac is looking to sell the popular A4 as the Cadillac
Cimmaron starting in late '99.

Audi fans around the world are said to be celebrating the buyout. Many Audi
fans site their love of chrome styling and landau tops as the reasons behind
their jubilation. Audi is expected to offer the following Cadillac options on
their A4 & A6 lines within the next 6 months; Chrome wheels, opera windows,
white walls, landau tops, and fake truck mounted spare tires.
