I've used the GM kit, Phil. It is a silver-based paint used to bridge
breaks or missing sections in the defroster grid. It would make the
connection between your spade lug and the grid all right, but it is not
intended as an adhesive, so you would probably have to devise another means
of holding the connector in place. This stuff works great for it's intended
purpose - it also does a good job at repairing broken circuit board traces!
