Try an auto recyclers and see what they have.

Both Boge and Bilstiens make execellent shocks. Easy to change, but remember to get an alignment after you do it. Not sure on shock costs.

Again, try an auto recycler, like AAA small car world in Texas.
>>
>>5. what do some decent Euro lights cost?
Not sure, but I have heard that they are about $700 a set. The best thing to do is to just go and get some good H4/H1 bulbs.
>>6. CV boots. what do they cost and how big a job to install?
Not done it on an Audi before but I have on other FWD cars and it took about 35 min for one side.
>>

If it is just the glass, get a new piece cut down at the glass shop. Cost me about $13 to do this. The glued it in and made it look factory perfect. If it is the actual plastic black housing, try an auto recyclers (see Hemmings Motor News for parts yards) or go to the auto parts store and get some plastic reconditioner and try to return it to it's natural color.
