California Launch/Trip INFO & ??

I'll be in California from Sept. 11th - Sept. 26..interested in meeting
some folks if you are.
The rough itinerary looks like this:

Sept. 11 - Oakland
Sept. 12-13 - Laguna Seca for Indy Race (seen it? where's the best venue?
corkscrew? tips and tricks?)
Sept. 14-15 - San Francisco for Anchor Steam, Golden Gate, Alcatraz and
whatever
Sept. 15-18-19? Yosemite...Tuolumne Campground and Upper Pines
Sept. 19-20...towards NorthWest Coast (Wine Country) (Redwoods etc.)
Sept. 21-26...working way down PCH  ...  Monteray? San Diego?
Sept. 26 - Depart Oakland.....

I would love to hear from folks about what I should see and do that will
fit into this rough itinerary!
No time to fly and somewhat cash poor...so it's a ragtop Sebring (sans
Audi) for two weeks!
