The offset and the hubs are different to widen the track. Look at how much
larger the CQ fender flares are compared to the 90Q. I currently have 90Q
V6 fenders (very similar to the CQ, big flares) on my '88 90Q and it looks
funny with the arches hanging way out over the tahrs. A solution is to
put some small offset 8inch wide wheels on it or to convert to 5ktq
struts/hubs which would yield a wider track (reason: availability). This
will require
5ktq axles and a change of output flanges on the trans or the use of 4kq
rear axles in order to fix the problem with axle spline differences and
axle lengths.
