RE: For the Audi Cause...

Ewww. Someone over here has one(and posted a picture to the list of it,
too, they shall remain nameless :)
There's also a S4 in the Boston area that's bright yellow; a friend spotted
it, though it might have been an a4. He's not exactly a "trained eye" and
couldn't tell me much about it.

Similarly, I was amazed when at the Corral at Mt. Washington, Sean Ford
pops open the hood on his 100, and it looks like you could climb in! I
think he was jealous of how clean Joe Fritz's V8's engine compartment
was...he was obsessing over some dirt and oil from the head gasket :)
On a similar note, the OXS sensor in the 200q20v is actually _easier_ to
change than on the 5k. There is _no_ space for anything except a OXS
socket, on my 200, I was able to squeeze various wrenches down and had
enough throw room to loosen the sensor.

But of course! Why wouldn't one always service their Audi at an Audi
dealer? And they never break, either :)
Quick-disconnect engines. Hmm. There's a new one. I wonder if Audi's
moving towards the policy of "replace the whole thing"...ie, engine
problem? Replace the entire engine, sort it out later.
Someone posted some specs about the a6 right before the particular model
year was due out; this was at least a year or two ago, maybe 3. One of the
features listed was a "service setting" which brought the front end of the
car out a couple inches, making the front of the engine compartment larger,
for various servicing(like timing belts.) I have no idea how it works, but
it's waaaaaay cool...
