Re: V8 oil change - 1990 3.6

Yhea, well, apparently, I got a nice gift from a previous Audi mechanic.
He/she installed(or the car came with) a different oil plug from almost
every other 200q20v on the planet, it seems.

It's a hex plug, not a bolt, and it always manages to get itself stuck in
permanently. I have yet to find a socket w/allen key that will fit it; I
believe the size is around 12-13mm, but I'm not sure. Some folks have a
similar size plug, but mine is apparently much larger(I know, because Rob
W. and I tried Chris Miller's socket on my car. Way too small, so that
means Chris+Rob have a different size plug.)

I had to hand-craft a bolt and nut combo, with locktite, and it still
doesn't work very well. Oil changes in this car are a royal PITA.

The 5k? Easy as pie. A nice bolt, standard metric socket size, have that
sucker out in a jiffy. <sigh>...there's progress for you.
