1990 V8

Just for the record, I decided not to buy the V8 I found in Fort 
Collins, CO.  However, the car might be of interest to other listers.  
Here are some particulars:

1990 Audi V8 Quattro, silver with Gray Leather, automatic trans.
Has original cell phone in center arm rest and transmitter in trunk.
Tires are Eagle ST's with about 5K miles left.
Body is very straight, no dings, no rust (other than a minute 
amount on the trim piece below the right headlight -easily fixed.
Paint has a few 1" and 2" scratches (all surface - not to metal), one 
small spot where it has peeled on the lower part of the front bumper.

Starts fine, idles fine, no obvious smoke.  I didn't drive it.

Big item for our family: it was owned by a smoker.  If you're a 
smoker, this won't matter.  They did not burn the upholstery or 
muck up the ashtrays, but there is an odor remaining.  Upholstery 
is in good shape.

Wood trim is OK, windshield has a crack in the lower right corner.

Asking price is $12,500.  Location: J&M Automotive, North College 
St. in fort Collins, 970/221-2754.  This is a repair shop/machine 
shop with a used car lot as well.  They seem to specialize in 
German cars, as they have Porsches, BMW's, Merceded and 
Audis going in and out.  The gent I spoke with is +/- 50, and has a 
German accent.
