Re: '90 V8 Q Audi/Bose Radio Code

Brett,

That code (1111) _does_ work. BTDT with a Weisbaden (1988 Audi 90). Unless
things changed (Bose using a different key code system?). The car the unit
came out of was a three owner car, and started life in NYC, 2nd owner
purchased from a Police auction after her Lexus was stolen by it's original
owner (wonder what he did for a living). BTW, factory preset is 1234 on all
VW/Audi coded radios that I have ecountered. Just try either code, it's worth
a shot.

Or is that the dealer's ploy to not have to look up the code and admit guilt?
What dealer uses an outside detailer? My father's never did, in fact no
dealer I know of does (at least where i live)
