I was just into Carlsen today to pick up a replacement headlight for the V8q
and I saw an A8 parked in the driveway.  I haven't had a chance to check one
of them out since getting the V8 ... so I gave it a pretty close once over.
This car had taken a shot to one of the headlights too!  I hope the lens is
replaceable on the A8 ... I'd hate to think how expensive that headlamp unit
with the fancy reflectors costs ... 

OBTW, they just sevied the road outside my house with that stupid chip-n-tar
stuff as well.  :(

I heartily recommend getting 3M (or equiv) protective film for your
headlights/driving lights.  Not only does it provide protection from the
larger projectiles it will also keep the surface of the lens from getting
pitted by the smaller stuff ...
