Looking for taillight lens for '82 4kS

I got a call from someone this morning who has an '82 4kS that they are
keeping in good condition ... but unfortunately they got rear-ended and the
taillight unit on the driver's side is damaged.  New is available from Audi,
but very expensive.  Since I thought it would be very difficult to find a
similar car in a wrecking yard, I thought I'd query the list to see if
anyone was aware of a place where a replacement can be forund in good
condition for a reasonable price.  Please respond to me via direct e-mail
